Thursday, June 2, 2005 Annual Awards Dinner Cruise Aboard the Lexington Where: NY Skyport Marina @ East 23rd Street & FDR, New York City. Boarding at 5:30 p.m. and cruising from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. Come join in the festivities, fine dining and entertainment from our “on board” Dee Jay as we enjoy the sights while cruising around Manhattan. The New York Chapter of MFSA – Mailing & Fulfillment Service Association – will present their annual awards as well as special awards for “Employee Recognition” to membership’s selected employee. Honorees for Lifetime Membership are James Prendergast and Marvin Weinberg who have contributed their services to the industry over the past several decades. Jim is past President of four organizations, recipient of many awards, managed up to 10 organizations and is currently working on events for La Salle Academy and AGC. Marvin is a past Board Member for MFSANY and MFSA international and is currently retired and enjoying life. Richard Skolnik is being honored with the John McDonald Kane Award for the ongoing contribution of his services to the industry. Richard is the current President of MFSANY who will be passing on his title on June 2nd. In addition, member companies were invited to nominate an employee who “made a difference” during the past year for recognition with the presentation of a special award.
