Meet Our Speaker…
William j. Schnaars was named District Manager/ Executive in charge of the New York performance Cluster in February 2009. Schnaars is the senior postal official responsible for a dedicated workforce of 11,600 postal employees providing mail delivery, customer service, mail processing and transportation operations in Manhattan and the Bronx.
Bill began his postal career as a mail handler in 1975 at the New Jersey International and Bulk Mail Center in jersey City, New Jersey. He entered the management ranks in 1983 as a supervisor of mails. His managerial experience also includes various middle manager positions, Manager of In-Plant Support at the New York Metro Area, Senior Plant Manager at the Morgan Processing Center, and Manager Operations Support at the New York Metro Area.
Bill is a Graduate of the Postal Service’s Advanced Leadership Program, Processing and Distribution Management program, and Executive Development Program.
